Optimist or Pessimist

Spread the love

Are you optimisma glass half full or a glass half empty kind of person? Optimist or Pessimist?

Sometimes, believe it or not, people don’t really know or haven’t even thought about it.

Is it important for you to know? Maybe. It’s all in how to talk to yourself.

I live in a place where it rains 70% of the time. There are some people who just can’t tolerate the rain and end up leaving. It’s just too much for them. But they often have missed the message of the rain. This is a temperate rainforest with huge trees and thick vegetation. It couldn’t exist without the volume of rain. The salmon that come up streams to spawn need the rain to provide both water levels and cool water temperature necessary for survival. The stunning beauty and majesty of the area that attracts millions of visitors every year relies on the rain.

The rain is definitely a positive…at least that’s the way I see it. I love the sound of rain on the roof.

Successful people tend to be optimistic. Their failures are looked at as stepping stones.

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas A. Edison.

Here’s a little quiz I found to determine if you are an optimist or not.
